Bertempat di IIMS 2017, PT Maxindo Moto Nusantara (Maxindo Moto) selaku importir dan distributor resmi dari BMW pada hari kamis 27 April 2017 merilis sebuah motor berkapasitas kecil dan termurah untuk seukuran motor kelas BMW. BMW G310R memiliki kapasitas mesin 313cc yang dibanderol hanya 99juta rupiah saja.
Motor single cylinder ini mampu memuntahkan tenaga 25 kW (33,5256 HP) @9500rpm, sedangkan torsinya 28 Nm @7500rpm. Motor street bike milik BMW sudah mulai bisa dipesan dan distribusi mulai akkhir bulan mei 2017.
Desain yang cantik ini ternyata blasteran antara BMW dengan TVS india, motor ini memakai sistem transmisi costant-mesh 6 speed yang di padukan dengan tipe kopling Multi-plate Wet Clutch sehingga pergantian gigi akan jauh lebih terasa responsif.
Headlamp yang menawan namun masih menggunakan tipe bohlam, H4 12V 60/55W. Speedometer sudah full digital, yap… sistem pengereman ternyata sudah ABS.
